Sree Chithra Ayur Home is renowned "Centre for Ayurvedic treatment” situated just 5 Kms away from Guruvayoor Sree Krishna Temple in Thrissur Disrict. It offers authentic Ayurvedic medicines and treatments to patients from all over India and abroad. This hereditary centre is the sister concern of Sree Chithra Ayurveda Nursing Home well known for its valuable contributions in the field of Ayurveda during the last three decades. It was established by visionary pediatrician who received prestigious ‘Gaveshaka Ratna Award’, and also was conferred the distinguished ‘Award for Best Ayurveda Doctor’ of Chavakkad and Guruvayur region to his credit. The hospital is run by two reputable doctors hails from traditional Ayurveda family with 400 years legacy who have sound knowledge in Ayurveda. They are ably assisted by other senior and experienced doctors who are specialized in traditional Ayurveda treatments.

Accommodation options available here include Main building and Parnasala amidst the mesmerizing beauty of nature. Main building is a nalukettu, built in traditional Architecture, provides a very tranquil atmosphere for Ayurveda Treatments. It has 12 Air Conditioned Double Rooms with attached Bathrooms available with hot & cold water, TV, Intercom etc. Foreigners choose to stay in Parnasala, the riverside cottage equipped with modern facilities which help to experience the fresh air blows across the river and mildness of the evening sun. It gives maximum relaxation for the souls having a hectic city life.

Delicious and hygenic Ayurveda food recipe along with traditional Kerala dishes served at the spacious airconditioned dining hall “‘Oottupura’’. Intoxication of any kind is strictly prohibited in the premises.

While you are here, you can choose to stroll either through the shade of green groves or take a ride in our Kettuvallom on the manathala river. Traditional Kettuvallom ride helps to enjoy the scenic beauty of the river and relax in the lap of the original natural beauty.

Lots more awaits you to make your stay and experience comfortable and majestic. Along with the treatment, we arrange optional short visits to Guruvayoor temple, other nearest pilgrim centers, Chavakkad beach, etc.

Tariff for foreigners $ 125/- per day per head

Services offered :

1.    To and fro conveyance from Cochin International Airport.

2.    Accommodation in full fledged air conditioned double room.There are total 12 rooms and one cottage.

3.    2 to 3 treatments daily(about 2hours and 30 minutes per day).

4.    Daily consultation of doctor.

5.    Pure organic/herbal vegetarian food prepared and served by our center according to the diet and body constitution of each person.

6.    Daily fruits and tender coconut water.

7.    Local sight seeing:

         Elephant Sanctuary (where more than 65 elephants in a single cottage).

         Guruvayoor temple (world famous Hindu temple in India).

         Saint Thomas Church Palayoor (Ancient Church built in AD 52 by St.Thomas).

         Manathala Mosque (one of the oldest mosque in Kerala).

         Golden Beach Chavakkad (genuine beach where 500 families of fisher men live).

         Love Shore Beach Triprayar (one of the famous tourist beach in kerala).

8. Village walk (a walk through green villages of kerala).

9. One hour class on Basic Principles On Ayurveda.

10. Cultural Eves - Kerala traditional dance forms like Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam, Kuchiputi and Kalari payat (traditional martial art of kerala).

All these facilities for 125$ per person per day. For twin sharing accommodation with treatment 10% reduction on the above rates.( 225$ per day for 2 persons ).

4.Daily consultation of doctor

For twin sharing accommodation with treatment 10% reduction on the above rates ( 5400 INR per day for 2 person).

Only one taking treatment and staying with by-stander the rate is 3500 per day.

For accommodation in NON AC room the rate is 2500 INR and with by-stander the rate is INR 3000 per day.
